There’s a new neck cream in town. Clarins Extra-Firming Advanced Neck Cream is the ultimate product to address neck concerns. Its primary purpose is for toning the neckline area, where wrinkles and fine lines are evened out, as stated by its manufacturer. This formulation is pretty much cream-based, best for your gentle skin. Using Clarins makes the neck appear more youthful and rejuvenated by smoothening the wrinkles and lines. The result is a smoother skin.

What are the ingredients?

The active ingredients are: Water, Cyclomethicone, Cetearyl Alcohol, CetearylIsononanoate, Squalane, Dipropylene Glycol, Cetearyl Glucoside, C14-22 Ingredients of Clarins Neck CreamAlcohols, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, C12-20 Alkyl Glucoside, Sodium PCA, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ethylparaben, Carbomer, PrunusDomestica Seedcake Extract, Tromethamine Methylparaben AnthyllisVulneraria Flower Extract Disodium EDTA BHT BocoaProuacensis Extract Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Extract Steareth-20 Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2 Dextran and Potassium Sorbate.

How does it work?

Clarins Neck Cream is promised to produce ideal results in the form of a firmer and more toned skin on the neck. This is achieved when the stimulen contained in the product restore the skin cells and maintain the firmness of the skin.  Its plum extract, on the other hand, soothes the skin. While this happens, bocoa, sunflower, and anthyllis work together to tauten and polish the fine lines away. The outcome in this process is the improvement and renewal of the skin. This works best among women in their 40s and above, especially because it facilitates the release of collagen.

What are the strengths?

What are the weaknesses?

No customer feedbacks on the official site to support the product Formulation is pretty much pricier than other similar products in the industry Evidence isn’t sufficient to back up its claims of effectiveness in wrinkle elimination No free trial samples in the manufacturer’s website Incorporation of some botanical and chemical components leads to allergic response in some customers No other special offers when purchasing several jars If may cost more if you ask for another product that can be used together with this product for maximized results No warning label anywhere in the product when there should be one at the back, allowing customers to review before buying No indication of when the outcome can be expected

How to use?

Use Clarins twice daily to obtain maximized results Delicate exfoliation once a week can help in the cleansing of the skin, making it appear more glowing Stop using the product as soon as allergic reactions come out, or if you’re hypersensitive to any of the components

What we think?

Generally it seems Clarins’ focus is on the entire skin wellness rather than the prevention of wrinkles and lines. Though it claims it’s a neck treatment with firming properties, the ingredients are not, in reality, skin-firming components. It can only enhance dry skin by making it softer. Thus, the results aren’t quite what you imagine for $82. There’s also the concern that it’s not specified when the outcome would finally show up. As for other neck treatments, there are those that provide visible results after only one month.
